Market share growth is small, but total search volume growth is large because the overall search market is growing quickly. That's all fine and good, timmah (I'm glad you pointed that out, I thought he simply couldn't do math), but volume isn't relevant in this circumstance. This is about Market Share, not volume increase. You don't say "Hey, we lost market share from Google but the market expanded volumetrically so we still made more money" so it's a success. Your investors would be like "uh yeah MS you lost 10% market share, this isn't good. Think we're gonna go invest in Google instead"
