i always laugh if its funny...
comedians make fun of everyone and everything, people find it funny until the joke hits them...

whats wrong about being comedians in ads?

people are over sensitive...

BTW... saw a stand up comedian being very funny and successful in a show when he made fun of lesbian, terrorists, drunks,etc..., and then he made fun of church, he was still funny, but no one laugh (at the audience)
isn't that hypocritical... we have to face it... we all are.

They aren't comedians though, they're selling a product, and Sony doesn't have the past to get a free pass. :) I'm afraid. After their 2nd beating it'll be ok.

and where is NOT OK to be a comedian while you sell your products?
if its smart and funny i will laugh at every ad i see of companies that i like or dislike.
they don't need no free pass or what ever, everyone has the freedom to make fun of other and don't need to be morally in a higher ground to do that. i don't think any comedian is better than me to have "permission" to make fun of me, he does just because he can, as i can also make fun of him or anyone for that matter.
every company has glass roof, every company can be a "victim" of a joke, so why just stay still hoping no one notice you? that is the opposite of what ads are for...
