For a meteor that's 17,000 miles away, it looks sooooo close. Literally looked like a low-flying plane. Yes I know the sun's 93 million miles away and it's rather visible too.

well, these videos are not of the asteroid that will pass the earth by in 17,000 miles distance - that one will be barely visible with binoculars
