With Bluray in the next Xbox, the voice search and gesture controls, not to mention video chatting, makes the Xbox a true media hub then the PS4 can ever be. Thats something in itself.
So MS really just has to focus on making games, with the media hub agenda out of the picture since they would have won off the bat.

Video game console is for video games, not voice search, gesture controls, or video chatting. If I want to video chat, I'll use skype on my phone or laptop. It's perceived value in something that is devoid of value. And you're defending it, lol.

Thats just it, MS wants it to be an all in one, so you can skype on your tv instead of a small phone/laptop screen. I like media....we all do. Now its on one console along with my games. I dont see the issue.

Well I thought I was clear about this. Perceived value is not the same as value.
You want a machine that runs games, skype, television, and a multitude of other things? Get a PC.
