The fact that Microsoft's had 12 years in the industry and thus far have only come up with two notable game series and their both in the only genre that Microsoft really has a solid grounding in ie. the shooter genre while in comparison Sony's exclusive offerings have better Metacritic scores in every other genre and have won more Game of the Year awards.

Its also fact that Since Sonys entrance into gaming, they too have only had two blockbuster game series. GT and Uncharted. Uncharted was picked up this gen and GT has devolved from a 2 game per gen to just 1, with a lower meta average to boot. The rest have either been abandoned, dropped off in popularity over the years, or dont sell enough to be considered real blockbusters. MS games also have a slightly higher metacritic average then Sony games. 74 to 73. A slight edge, but a edge nonetheless.
You see its not actually fact, its just my take on history, which your doing as well. It ain't fact so much as a personalized view of a broad picture.
But I will say this...it is very blind to confuse 360s popularity with shooters for a lack of variety in its genres. 360 has made great strides in genre diversity, especially with XBLA. Shooters get the spotlight, but so what?
By the way....COD is also the best selling series on PS3. In fact COD takes up 4 out of 5 best selling PS3 games of all time......GTA 4 is the last one. Not a single exclusive. Go figure.

The bolded is just blatantly wrong. Sony has had just from internal studios "Crash Bandicoot", "Spyro the Dragon", "Wild Arms", "Ico" and "Shadow of the Colussus" ( no Microsoft game has ever come close to the critical acclaim of those two), "Ratchet and Clank", "Jak and Daxter", "Sly Cooper", "God of War" ( III like "Gran Turismo" is still undertracked). And a little game called "Journey" that just won IGN's Game of the Year Award. When was the last time an Xbox 360 exclusive did that? And, oh yeah, two exclusives to receive Perfect 10s from IGN. How many Xbox 360 exclusives have received Perfect 10s from IGN? That's right. Zero.

Cool list. None of them are blockbusters except for GT and Uncharted. And like I said, aside from thsoe two, practically all you listed were abandoned, sold low, dropped in popularity over the years, or never really sold blockbuster amounts.
Seems you dont know what a blockbuster means, and completely disregarded that MS has a higher meta average then Sony. You can't even face the truth about your favourite company, yet you have the nerve to post "truth" about what you hate.
Your comment about Journey just annoys me because you praise the game yet it clearly undersold after a solid opening week. The game didn't even hit a million downloads and you talk about its awards. You show me that your all talk but numbers show that you dont back it up.

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.
