No offense but Sales is right in what he is saying.  The sales have been good but the games themselves have had problems and that is not rigged in anyway.  Ill take GT5 for example which I believe has an 83 on metacritic.  It was really cool that they put some premium cars in the game that was relistic on the inside but they had 100s and 100s of copy and paste cars from GT4.  The trees was like cardboard and the crowd as well.  It also has no damage on cars like forza or customization.  Forza raised the bar in my opinion this gen with car simulators.  It added more gameplay elements and while it doesnt sell as well as GT by  many people who have played both will say Forza is the better game which the reviews reflect that.  A game that takes 5-6 years to make better be very good. If Turn 10 can make a better game in 2 years imagine with 6 years.

i don't think that i've ever read more bs about gt 5 honestly

no damage on the cars? then why is there a trophy activated when pieces fall off your car due to poor driving?

no customisation? sure there is no livery editor but cars along with their wheels can be painted, aero kits can be installed and a wide range of tuning options are available

"Forza raised the bar in my opinion this gen with car simulators.  It added more gameplay elements"

yeah somehow the game with far less driving modes ( no rally, no f1, no go karting, no night driving etc etc etc ) "raises the bar" that's funny imo

edit:

i'm curious as to what you mean by raising the bar honestly lol

"i dont think it has cars rolling either"

...there is also a trophy activitaed if you roll your car in a race

...if you truly do own gt 5 you do an extremely poor job of demonstrating you actually played it

Woah woah, relax there buddy.  I explained the damage in a different post.  It has damage, but very little if i remember correctly.  Wasnt it only cosmetic?  I haven;t played it in a long time so i dont remember.  But if i remember right it was only cosemetic damage.  By customization i was talking about paint by the way. And as i said the reviews reflect my opinion so if you want to argue that is fine but I will still stand behind my opinion that Forza raised the bar.

tbh at this point i'm just curious as to how forza raises the bar and brings all of these gameplay elements you mentioned

what gameplay elements are speaking of specifically? lol ( in a game mind you that has far less racing modes )

And before getting all pissy again.  This is what i was saying.

By raising the bar I am specifically talking about the customization, online, paint, auction house, the damage, and physics.  Gran Turismo 5 is a great game but do you honestly think that Forza 4 got much better reviews for no reason? I have both and I can certainly say that Forza was the better game.  Gran Turismo is more realistic though.  By the way the go karting on the game is not fun nor half the other stuff.

Has the guy in the video even unlocked full damage? Doesn't seem like it to me. also @bold - I find it fun sometimes =P. F1 cars are my favorite and it's why I prefer GT over Forza. More diversity.
