Why hasn't Yoshida been fired?

Sorry i should explain better.  I actually own GT5 btw.  It has damage but very little.  It's been a while so i cant remember but i dont think it has cars rolling either.  As i cant remember everything exactly i wont go into this too much but from what I remember wehn you hit a car it may dent your car but nothing more.  Just a little cosmetic type dent but doesnt actually effect your car.  In Forza you wreck and you will lose parts off your car and hurt the insides of the car as well including transimission, engine, etc.  But as I said i havent played GT5 in a really long time so i could be remembering wrong

Full damage is unlocked at a later level in the game which I am assuming you haven't reached yet. Also, when you damage your car it also causes mechanical failures/damage meaning your wheel can be distorted and you can't drive straight your engine could be damaged and you go slower etc.
