He's head of Worldwide studios. His home is in Japan.

Polyhony had one of the WORST development cycles of all time for GT5. Constantly delayed over, and over, and over. It took far too long for Sonys killer IP and most popular 1st party title to be released on PS3. Polyphony only released 1 game on PS3.

Theres only one way that situation should be looked at. 100% FAIL.

If Polyphony needed more resources, Yoshida shouldve done everything in his power make sure they had them. If they needed more manpower, he souldve overseen that.

Then you look at Team Ico's project..... theyre were the "4 year release cycle" team before this gen...... SMH.... do I even need to type this one out ? The game has also been delayed over and over, wont probably even see the light of day on PS3.

So Team ICO released NOTHING on PS3 the entire gen.

Once again....FAIL.

That's cool.  You can give him those failures--if you give him the successes, as well.  He was there for the Uncharteds and Gods of War, too.  He's there with The Last of Us coming out.

I like him, and I love the style of World Wide Studios.  They let most of the teams decide what they want to do.  Who else does that?  Does Activision or EA?  Not usually.  It's style that has a chance of failure, sure, but it's one that can generate some fantastic games.
