So, gamestop changed the release date back to May 7, but Best Buy still has it at June 18. Also amazon still has it at May 7.

Just saw that. They originally had the Survival and Regualr Editions changed to June 18th. Something tells me this rumor was never true which makes sense given what I said earlier - Sony made no comment.

Could still be delayed, but GameStop never changes dates back like that.

One reason why it is hard to believe is because they said that they were not gonna announce a date till they knew that they will be able to get it ready for the date. 

Exactly. That was one of the things they criticized themselves for regarding Uncharted 3.

Yeah and they've never ever delayed a game.
