I have a Surface RT tablet and love it, there's some learning curve because it's so different, but Windows 8 is really great on a touchscreen (and really not too bad with a mouse once you get used to it). The best usage advice I can give is to use the search feature. On the home screen, just start typing if you have a keyboard connected, or swipe in from the right and tap search. You'll search all your apps, files and settings from one place, it makes finding anything a snap. |
Thanks for the advice! I think that may the route we'll take for our audio collection and purchase a USB adapter for larger files.
She's really quite taken with it.
