Tips
-Don't forget that with blade mode, you have the option of using X (horizontal)/Y(vertical) strikes instead of the analog stick. Although, I get the feeling that correct aiming with the analog will really come in handy later in the game.
-Unless you're looking to get S ranking in everything, you might try experimenting with Blade Mode. Sadistic as it is, cutting off limbs and leaving the torso to walk or crawl in agony is pretty cool.
-The most opportune time to use Blade mode is when you've got a stunned opponent. Once the attack slows down and the guy glows orange, start cutting.
-Y + B gives you a stylish finishing attempt on an enemy once he/it's stunned.
-Stealth-killing is mostly getting above or behind a cyborg or gekko and hitting the button prompt.
I appreciate the guide but as I am an Xbox gamer not PlayStation those control mean nothing to me, and I don't know how to translate them into Xbox controls.
Although I dislike having to pick up controls myself without some sort of in-game tutorial (which is more in-depth than the one in MGR) the killers for me were the lack of a dodging abilty or ability to recover health. Someone has mentioned to me that these are actually in the game but with the health-regen it was only explained, not demostarted while dodging was even mentioned.
There you go, I "translated" them for you :P
The dodging is this one:
A + X = Evasion (optional direction)
Here's what it looks like when you do it:
You can recover health by getting those blue energy things the enemies have inside their bodies
