This is capitalism--you either sink or swim. It is not my responsibility to find new and creative ways to keep a company in business. The same way it is not the government's responsibility to find new and creative ways to keep a dollar in my pocket. If I mismanage my funds then I pay the price, the same is to be said for any company. Square went bankrupt because of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. They made a bad decision and it cost them into a merger with Enix. If you cannot afford to spend $120M dollars then you should not spend it. If you take a gamble and lose then that is your problem, not mine. There are a number of small studios that have stayed in business because they have made good business decisions. The used game market is a legitimate industry. If you have a problem with it then you also have a problem with capitalism. As a consumer I determine what value my dollar holds. As long as I am going through legitimate channels there should not be a problem which product I choose.
