And for the other 18 years noone has ever called it PSX in my lifetime. Just my observation you do not have to be butthurt about it.

It was called PSX by people that actually played it BEFORE the revised PSOne came out. I, and many others, moved on to PS2 in 2001, and we subsequently still referred to it as the PSX because that's what we'd been doing for 3 years.

It's no surprise that no-one under the age of 24 recognizes the term.

That's the fucking point.
