Butthurt at Sony (80%), and the fact that Sega put a bunch of games on Xbox until they all flopped and they had to focus on other, more viable platforms (20%). That was always my impression, anyway. |
Now most of the "Sega-like" games are exclusive to Sony's console like Valkyria and Yakuza. They don't do well with the general Xbox fanbase I suppose. I'm not exactly sure that because I liked Sega (and Nintendo / Sony) back in the day, meant that I had to become an Xbox fan and like Halo / Gears. It's nothing remotely the same. I think it must be an Internet thing where fans keep track of drama between console manufacturers and focus less on the games.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
