uh oh! looks like a mistake stick!
2 years ago, dec of 2010, xbox gold members were at 12m. In 2011, Steve Ballmer celebrated a 10% increase, which would be 13.2m.
In a year, I would be shocked if it even reached 26m unless that 2 year contract has been gangbusters for them, which we would have heard already.
If the gold numbers were impressive, they would have given them. I'd say it's no higher than 18m gold subscribers on average (at the very most)
