It is a good idea (cost wise for the developers/publishers) however....

You end up with games like DmC and Star Fox Assault.

Am I the only one who liked Star Fox Assault? :(

I was really disappointed with SFA.

I loved the beginning even though it may of been a watered down version of the first two original games however.....

The fact that it was a third person shooter....and a very clunky one I just didnt like it.

I got through a few levels - I'm planning to get back into it some day since I wanna finish my GCN collection.

Edit: I did enjoy Star Fox Adventures since it reminded me of Zelda and loved the music/visuals...hated that test I had to do at the end or near the end though >.>.

Well it's been a long time since the last time I played it. Maybe if I played it now I won't like it as much lol. One thing I remember not liking about the game is that it's too short, there are only like 10 missions in the game.

OT: Outsourcing surely reduces cost. But the guys that are paying the bills will have to really trust in the guys they are hiring. Outsourcing may not warranty a quality product which they need in order to recover the investment. It's kinda like a double-edge sword I guess.
