because it is an achievement?  76m sold, 24m kinects with 46m accounts on XBL is pretty huge numbers.  Riderz im cool with you and all but dont be ridiculous. You guys know very well why people are happy about this.  Because it is an achievement.  Just like if Sony came out and said we have sold 76m PS3's, 46m PS+ accounts, 24m PS eyes blah blah.  People would be happy about that.  not hard to figure out guys

@bold - I honestly wouldn't give a shit. 

Edit - It's a cool accomplishment for the company, but not something I would personally care for.
