The christian doctrine is diametrically opposed to most post-modern thoughts. It's "your" life, do whatever you want as long as you don't hurt anyone.

That's in strong contrast with "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and You shall love your neighbor as yourself." If the Lord asks the believer to practice heterosexuality and abstain from sexual immorality, you can be certain that Christianity will be today's whipping boy. Islam despite its also more traditional roots has it easier because it isn't as integrated into the culture of western society. So, being more foreign, needs less "weeding out" so to speak.

Funny since in Islam dominated countries, there is no "whipping". You make this thread over there, your IP will be tracked and you will be jailed for speaking against the religion.
