There have already been enough videogames that I've missed, honestly, to be occupied for the rest of my life.
A more realistic question would be, what if someone invented cyborg dinosaurs that that traced prey by following electronic signals? How many people would be able to give up electronic devices when they all still worked? Who among you would cast the first iPhone? Who would refrain from the internet because dinosaurs? I know people would take the risk--AND THEY WOULD DIE.
Think about it. You're home, you're bored, and you want to look at cats. You think "just for five minutes". You're watching grumpy cat, then polite refusal cat, then the next thing you know, you're twenty minutes into red panda videos when a cyber-dino bursts through your window, EATS YOUR INTERNET RIGHT INFRONT OF YOU, then shoots you.
That, ladies and gentleman, is hell.
