I doubt it.
Like someone else said, other genres will take over for shooters. There will be a platforming revival, then another shooter revival. When new technologies are introduced, new games will take over. Nintendo, MS, and Sony are all bringing new ideas to the table, and those will allow for revitalizing of genres and new experiences.
