Because many game styles have been stagnant for the last couple generations, we get the same old FPS and other genres we've had for decades. And it's amazing how some people completely lack imagination & think that a dual analog controller is the ultimate evolution & there's no need to improve it anymore. 

You're right. I'm ready for the triple analog.
