SSB64 > Melee was a great improvement, in my opinion. Better in pretty much every way. Melee to Brawl was sort of a...trade off, but we got ripped off in the trade. While some things about Brawl were better (more characters, no exact clones, better music, graphics and items, ect), we lost the balance of the gameplay, the speed and the techniques Melee had that made it a competitive community. |
