I think you're ignoring my pure loathing of this story.
I gave an honest opinion of the story between cloud and sephiroth, because once you introduce clones, the depth goes to 0 and 3rd grade is far too kind. You have either been as dry as a nun or answered a question in a method not intending it to be answered. My apologies then, for thinking that you had the will to admit that the cloud and Sephiroth story was stupid, instead just discarding it gently as "The others were better". It does not deserve that kindness. It is bad enough to get people to hate the game.
No self introspection of Vincent, even if he's Emo, no facing the past as Barret, even if he's a stereotype, no youthful enthusiasm of Yuffie, even if her enthusiam involves stealing for her people. No identity crisis of RedXIII. No goal chasing of Cid. No confusing life or loyalty for Tifa. No alien innocence for Aeris. No united front from Cait Sith. Just pure, 100% retardation clone saga, deep as a plain and meaningful as The Lord of the Flies.
Thanks for explaining that the random girl got the injections as well however. Doesn't help with the clones or many deaths, but at least that's... something.
