She sees that and makes a comment about brothels and I say "That's funny because I'm about to go to one" since one of the trophies I need is beating the sex minigame 3 times in a row to get the item. She flips the fuck out and says I can't play it anymore because it makes women an object. I was shocked at this. I told her I'm a damn grown up and can make choices of what I will and will not play. I also told her that we are all mature adults here and can handle a sex scene. I then asked her if we need to get rid of 300/dirty harry or other movies that show titties and has sex scenes. She said it was different because it is a video game. I responded that it's just another medium for entertainment and you can't apply a rule to one and not the other. She has since taken the game and hid it somewhere.... I have made sure she knows that I will be purchasing the new God of War in March and I will not stop playing these games and if she is going to restrict me then we are going to have some problems. Has this happened to anyone else? |
