Sega fans, let's go back to reality

I've been saying that for a while. It's such a perfect match, in the end. Half of Sega's IPs fit into Nintendo neatly, and would benefit greatly from Nintendo's guidance. On the flipside, the other half of Sega's IP is the kind of stuff that Nintendo doesn't make, but is the kind of stuff that their internal studios actually do well, and that would benefit from better focus.

And in the meantime, almost all of Sega's multiplatform titles that release on a Nintendo platform do best on the Nintendo platform. There are, of course, a few exceptions, such as Sega Superstar Tennis, but the vast majority do best on the Nintendo platform.

I second this. Nintendo buying up Sega would be a perfect match. Sega's IP's do really well on Nintendo consoles and people would actually buy the Nintendo system to get to a Sonic game. They both started out as arcade companies after all and share a lot of similarities. 

while i do agree with the lot of you and would love to see ninty and sega team up for some ass kicking, id be concerned with what happens with some of segas ips. dont they have some mature games, and ninty aint into that kind of games... what to do with them? but what worries me the most is actually the total war series... which is only released on pc. what would nintendo do with that one?!
