It won't have any exclusives, Valve is too small for that.

Are exclusives more fun then non exclusives?

Steambox is just a low end pc?

Point?  It doesn't matter if it has no exclusives if it has a crap load of cheep AAA games.

Point is obvious: no one will buy it if it doesn't have exclusives, everyone already has a pc at home, neither are all Steam games controller enabled.

Keyboard & mouse are better for most games anyway, but even if you disagree most games that aren't Big Picture enabled still have gamepad options in the settings.

You didn't answer the simple question, are exclusives more fun than non exclusives, so I'll answer it for you, no they aren't.

Not everyone has a PC that can play games or that the user knows if it will work with a specific game, Steambox will take the guess work out of "Will this game run on my computer?".

Your question has nothing to do with the point I was making. I was never arguing wether exclusives are more fun than multiplats or not, you do not understand me. I was implying that without exclusives there is a very little incentive for people to get the console. If its just a lowend htpc and cost around €400 the same as next gen consoles, there will be even less incentive to buy it.

Kb+mouse is only better for shooters and rts, I don't play mmos, the other genres all work better with a controller. "most games have gamepad options in the settings" oh really? I thought Steam already lists what game is controller enabled or not, and of my 200 games only a few are controller enabled.
