| Mr Khan said: The better question: is the market in decline because Nintendo's in decline? 7th-gen growth is largely due to Wii/DS, after all. If Nintendo's dropped the ball such that they're not doing the heavy lifting anymore, how will the 8th gen stack up? Could be the first instance of gen-over-gen decline in the history of home console gaming. |
don't forget about the market crash back in the 80's.
OT: it's the market and Nintendo went next gen. to soon. by my calculations, next gen isn't supose to star for 2 yr.'s, which is one reason the market is in decline. it's really phasing out 7th gen. consoles, and the process isn't finished yet as far as i can tell.
Nintendo rushed the 8th gen., and now they are suffering the decline of the 7th gen. market.
