Apple is a one product company...
Microsoft on the other hand has alot of things going on.
Xbox, Office, enterprice, Windows, Comunication.
If Iphone fails Apple Fails, the same wont happen with Microsoft and Pcs will still reign supreme in the market, it doesnt matter that they dont sell more, people dont buy Pcs every year like they buy Phones, i got my pc 4 years ago, meanwhile i got 4 phones in the same time-frame.
Apple is done once Iphone fade goes away, its simple. Ipod is dead, Mac is dead and Ipad is losing to android more marketshare day after day, meanwhile once Windows Tablets hit decent price point Ipad will be in trouble, it already is but just see Android surprassing Ipad just like happenned with Phones some years ago.
its a question of time, being a one product company might be good in the short term but once that product fails or stop selling, you´re done. Thats why we need Steve Jobs back, the man was allways thinking above everything, im pretty sure he would already dropped some megaton of a new device.
