Easy it was designed to be integrated in an array of networked electronics and the PS3 was going to be one of those appliances along side TV's fridges etc , each able to offload to the other when needed , but like a lot of good ideas it was probably ahead of it's time and lets not forget Sony wasn't the only Company involved with the Cell,
