And Apple is a large corporation that is known worldwide and also have a relatively large amount of diehard fans that purchase those yearly versions. Ouya is a small ompany that only gamers who frequent gaming websites know about. So, two very different things. I think they would have fared better if they stuck with a 3 year plan, instead. Now, people will wait a year or two for their HW to improve, which will decrease sales of the initial batch, which could lead to them going out of business before they even launch Ouya 2 or 3.
