Final Fantasy 6 is, to me, one of the best games ever made. It's in my top three, along with Final Fantasy Tactics and Suikoden 2. Final Fantasy 7 is, in my opinion, somewhat overrated and a step back from FF6, though obviously it was hugely influential and important. If I had to recommend one of the games on sale, it would be FF6, though only if you have no problem with a party full of sprites.
I bought FF6 yesterday, though I already have the PS1 disc and SNES cart.
