If they're trying to sell their engine, wouldn't they aim lower? I mean, wouldn't it benefit them more to say, "If you use UE4, your development costs will decrease from this gen"?

I guess that's not realistic. So why not say, "your development costs will stay the same"? Is that also not realistic? Maybe the truth is that dev costs will triple even with UE4.

Just saying that if they're exaggerating to make their product sound more attractive, they would be exaggerating up for dev costs without UE4, and down for dev costs with it.
