Nobody has been saying that. Gears 3 and Halo 4 both got a lower metascore because they are more of the same even though they are both the best of the series. They still hold up as being amazing games though. A crack in time actually did well it has just been the other RAC games this generation that has struggled. God of War Ascension will likely do well, I'm expecting something near Halo 4 unless the multiplayer ends up proving me wrong. Anyways i dont think anybody has said anything about those games that you have mentioned. People have just been bringing up Halo 4 as an example of how games ratings are declining at the end of the generation. Who knows, maybe game ratings are changing permanately, and Im ok with that to be honest.
