Good analysis.
I just want to add the Wii U's GPU have features compatible with DX11... of course the Wii U don't use DX11 because that a Microsoft proprietary API and Nintendo uses other API (I forgot the name)... but the GPU have features similar or compatible with DX11.
At least that what said Nintendo.
