Like I said in the other thread, the PS3 came out 1 1/2 years after the 360, yet is 5.5M ahead of the 360. This gen, EU will most likely treat the NeXbox like the Wii U, especially if they only have to wait a few months for the PS4. Japan will definitely go Sony over MS, so that's 2 major regions right there. As for the US, given the price will be similar, as well as similar launch periods, it will be anyones game. Though, I do see Sony winning back quite a bit of the marketshare it lost. MS has got one heck of a battle going against it. |
Unless offcourse MS gets the casual crowd that made Wii what it was. WiiU doesn't have that same magic and somehow I doubt the PS4 will be a casual magnet, especially with MS's very ambitious goals to be a all-in-one media/entertainment hub
