I dare to say you are right, and that THIS TIME, nintendo lost an amazing oportunity, ONE SINGLE GAME on the lauch would have done the trick.
Imagine if AT LAUNCH, they had an amazing, pretty, inovative and powerful title that kicked the HD twins ass? Most of people who is bitter about how Nintendo approach all this would buy the thing.
Hell, I bought the PS3 basically because I couldn´t stand anymore the desire of playing Uncharted 2 and MGS4, those were powerful games.
However, if you lauch a console 6 years after the similar ones on the market, and don´t have a gimmick (wiimote, 3d on 3ds), it better do stuff that the other can´t.
I know, that is the wiiu-gamepad job, but it fell a little short of being as powerful as a wiimote.
Just one single game that kick the HD twins ass, that is all that I ask...
