Also, this isn't following what MSFT usually likes to do with market positioning..... they usually want to go after a spot between average and premium markets, basically one step below the Iphone and one above android, but now they are in android territory and I dont thinkthat this will make much money for them.
Microsoft has usually sold its windows liscences at a deep discount to Africa, but even if it does the same with its phones, I dont see how this will do a whole lot for them. They aren't going to have a bonanza of app sales, or whatever. They aren't going to convert anybody to try out a windows 8 pc.
Other than a a small amount of sales, what is the advantage?
