2000 schools now use chromebooks

It is not 2000 Chromebooks, it is 2000 schools.

so 80m windows 8 and what still less than 50k chromebooks.  Still a huge difference.  This is not news when companyies across the world does this kind of thing with windows products every day.

Example:  I bet 90% of the people in this thread are using some kind of windows device.

The Samsung model was the bestseller Chromebook by a decent margin I assume, no numbers for that though.

As the Acer's President said there were no marketing. The availability was very limited. Considering that the numbers are quite good. I hear the limited availability excuse for Windows tablets all the time but not for Chromebook. The marketing was also huge for Windows (and RT).
