My problem with PC gaming is the platform.
To make the new games work, you have to upgrade -- then the old games won't work.
Plus you never really know if a PC game is going to work until you take it home and try it -- whereas rarely do platform games fail out of the box.
I tried to go PC gaming in the late 1980s/early 1990s. All I got was debt and a lot of useless 5-1/4 inch disks, some of which would not let me reinstall after a harddrive crash.
I went back to consoles and have not regretted the switch.

I am Mario. I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble. Wii Friend Code: 1624 6601 1126 1492 NNID: Mike_INTV |
