I don't see the problem with this.....I think this could very well happen. Why not....it's done for Mobiles and has been for years. Why not offer 2 options....buy it out right for £399 or tie yourself into a PS+ contract for 2 years, paying £15/£18 per month plus a £100 up front cost.
So you could be paying £460/£530 for the PS4 over 2 years and you get a full 2 years worth of PS+.
Buy doing this, they will get much more people buying into it....its a very sensible way to operate.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)
