Seems legit.. I mean when was pachter ever wrong?

Never.

"Michael Patcher believes the Wii U is learning closer to the flop option, or as he put it, “it isn't going to work."

Patcher believes the Wii only succeed due to luck and that this lucky streak won’t be continuing with the Wii U, since being novel won’t be to help Nintendo this time. But he does believe Nintendo fans and hardcore gamers will still buy the console.

He was right with that one.

So he was wrong. The Wii was designed following one of the most influential and insightful business strategies of the late 20th century. It didn't succeed due to luck but great managerial effort and understanding of disruptive products. Pachter is so awesome... *cough*
