That they will come out with a new IP that will be more popular than Halo? If they couldn't even do it near the end of this generation when Microsoft was basically saving the bulk of their games for next generation why would they be able to do it with the PS4? |
You gots tha be kiddin me right? Halo 4 just came out, another Gears comes out in the next few weeks. So how exactly were they saving their games for next gen?
The reason NA gamers went mostly with 360 was because it was cheaper than the PS3, and then it got Kinect as a 2nd boost. If PS4 and 720 launch at the same price around the same time, the race between them in NA is gonna be much more close. Kinect 2 won't help the 720 as much as Kinect 1 did. It needs to be groundbreaking and not just better tracking for it to have any effect.
Europe is Sony territory, eventhough PS3 came out 1.5 years later costing €200 more than 360 it managed to outsell it.
