streaming, PS+, free PSN, awesome exclusives. There is no comparison between handheld brand name and home consoles. I mean Sony sold 0 handhelds during PSone and most of PS2 yet dominated home consoles. They're winning home consoles now despite still being most expensive and having a failing portable. Also Americans are very quick to change their minds. They loved PS2 (like everyone) then Wii now Xbox. Like I said a years head start and being super expensive are a bigger deal than anyone seems willing to admit. That is huge and should have doomed the PS3 to failure, but exclusives, brand name, and free online saved them. Also Sony marketing sucks I think that's the only thing that really needs fixed next gen, especially getting the word out on +

Thinsg are so fluid, and it is possible to be able to lose it. I am not saying Sony can't regain dominance again, but you can't just say it will. It will be important that whatever is needed to dominate is there. Sony did dominate though, when everyone else dropped the ball pretty much.

You asked what they needed to do or what indicated that they could and I gave you that. I never said they would dominate, just listed what I thought they needed to do to get the most sales possible.

riderz13371 said dominate, so that became the focus. And with the videogame industry, dominate is the main thing that is of interest. As of now, you didn't list anything gamechanging that wouldn't make for Sony to end up doing something to stand out and turn the tables.
