yeah and Sony bought sstudios but they didn't just buy a bunch of random studios in a short amount of time. The studio usually releases games for Sony before they decide to buy them
The new MS studios haven't really made any games for M$ yet

yea you can say that they were a joke back in 94 BECAUSE THEY WERE BRAND NEW TO THE CONSOLE GAME, genius
they definitely brought there cards to the table during that 94-2000 period(yes, i'm watching closely as you are trying to wiggle off path)

I guess we will get to see what them studios have been working on nextgen. After all its only with the PS3 IMO that Sony really started upping its game with First Party games. As before that Other then GT They didnt really have much i liked, Imo it was the 3rd party games such as MGS FF7 Tekken, Ridge Racer etc that made the Ps1 and PS2 worth owning. As imo both Sega and Nintendo was out doing Sony when it came to first party games big time back then in tearms of quality.
Like i said its only with PS3 Sony has really upped their game when it comes to 3rd party games, so i guess we will have to wait and see if MS will do the same thing..

I liked the 3rd party titles also.
but Sony still brought new quality ips to the table that people enjoyed in the ps2 era at the end of the day

But so did Ms for the 360 in its early life, i could go on and list a bunch of ms ips that came this gen thats new (Doesnt mean i or you would have to of liked all them ips but to over look them would be a bit one sided imo as im sure many people did enjoy them) but i wont. What i enjoyed most on the 360 once again like with the PS1 and 2 days is the 3rd party games Not saying the isnt MS owned ips i didnt enjoy just as im not saying the wasnt Sony owned ips i didnt enjoy last gen, im just saying that like with the PS1 and 2 days most of my fav games come from 3rd partys.
So for me this is really the only gen Sony has upped their game when it comes to first party games as its the only gen Sony has had more first party titles i enjoy on their console then 3rd party games, but thats just my opinion on it as im sure the is many fans who enjoyed alot of the Sony first party games the last 2 gens just as im sure the is many who enjoyed the Lesser known Ms ips this gen and last gen.
All im saying is lets wait and see what them studios MS got from this gen that hasnt really done much this gen but may have lots of stuff and new ips in the works for next gen before we decide MS wont have new ips or that.
For all we know Ms could do like what Sony has done for its 3rd gen and bring lots of great new ips to the table.

and i was just saying that in reply to what the other guy was saying. I'm not saying that MS didn't bring any quality ips(though i can't remember too many)
he was the 1 that basically tried to say that Sony didn't have any quality 1st party ips besides GT between 1994-2000. He also brought MS into it so that is why i said that about MS
