The answer to your thread is quite simple the fact is that hell by your definition does not exist. Your concept of hell is not realy in the Bible, sure the word is in it but that is just due to mistranslation between Hebrew and Greek to english. I am not going to spend a lot of time giving evidence to why this is true so if you really want an in depth explination go to this link http://www.hell-is-a-myth.webs.com/hellisamyth.htm .

Another interesting, but longer, read: http://www.truthortradition.com/modules.php?file=article&name=News&sid=455

I know the term and understanding of 'hell' that is perpetuated today is due to mistranslations. This has some other interesting concepts, one of them being that those who do evil will be 'burned up' in a second death that results in them not existing anymore (clearly not being tormented forever), while those who chose the 'gift' of eternal life will live on forever in some kind of new existence.

That was a good video in that link mabey you should embed that I don't know how. The most interesting part was "Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Mathew 10:28" This clearly shows that there isn't eternal sufering because it says that the soul will be destroyed. Considering the context of this vese it should be clear that the word hell is mistranslated.
