If people are buying Vitas for Madden, that speaks more to the kind of people who buy Vitas than it does the supposed unviability of the Wii U.

It's not exactly EA's fault that Nintendo decided to make a console roughly on par with current gen.  Seems like something to take up with Nintendo.  The Wii U version does utilize the tablet, though it is up for debate whether that is a selling point in general.  It also doesn't explain why the PS3 saw 10x higher sales on a smaller install base in 2006 despite not having that selling point of being the only HD version.
