They released a gimped version late. Of course it sold horribly. If they were willing to release an equal version at the same time, it might actually (gasp) sell pretty well.

I'm surprised no one else has noted the absense of a Vita version.

These are the exact same issues the PS3 and 360 Maddens had when they launched.  Both launched months after the PS2 era versions, and both were missing features.  Yet the sales difference is massive.
