They are appealing at your humanity/family bonds on the emotional side. Its not bad, but its terribly expensive and inneficient if you ask me.


I dunno. I've played God of War, and I know that I'm not a very big fan of the games(or the genre), but watching this ad somehow makes me want to buy the game anyway...


It worked on you then. I said it was innefecient in the ratio of people it will turn to how much it cost, compared to cheaper and more effective methods. I do believe that they are going for the non-GoW fan here, and it makes sense in that regard to have this commercial.

With that said, since its just one it doesnt work well. It would be best to get a 30 sec one twice during the break then this 2m one when you dont even understand what its about until kratos shows up (assuming you know him), otherwise only at the packshot. Its a waste.
