Exactly! If Sony/MS announce date/price before E3, Nintendo will have some time to prepare the strike back... I think they will try to repeat the 3DS/Vita story by launching killing autemn lineup and maybe slashing the price of WiiU for 50-80 USD some weeks before opponent's launch...

That wont be happening not unless Nintendo want to lose millions.
