What Sony wants do now is go back to PS2-Gamecube domination. Same thing could happen as 3DS vita though. Eesh. That would be really tough! I do think the Wii U will be doing much better by December, with a pretty strong spring/summer lineup and what looks like Zelda, 3D Mario, and Mario Kart all in the same Holiday season. I'm not confident it can manage Wii-level sales, but it doesn't have to. It just has to be healthy by the time the PS4 and 720 launch, and I think (and hope) it will be.
Nintendo may not "win" the upcoming home console generation, but I doubt the Wii U will get squashed the way the GameCube was.
